My Top Pick:

Horizon Paragon X Folding Treadmill

Let’s now look at the pros and cons of the compact folding treadmill.

---

Overview

When we set out to categorize the best folding treadmills based on their specifications and user experience, Horizon Fitness’s Paragon folding treadmill stood out amongst all others. The treadmill is designed to suit varying user needs. Its build quality ensures that all of your workouts are enjoyable and that you don’t miss a workout again.

Often, we fail to keep up with our workouts due to fatigue and tiredness. However, Horizon Paragon folding treadmills minimize the problem significantly; it comes with an air train technology that provides commendable cushioning to prevent injuries and soreness.

Nevertheless, the air train technology isn’t commended for its cushioning but for its experience. The air train system allows the trainer to set 10 different trails worldwide and the running belt inflates and alters based on your running program.

Nonetheless, Paragon X folding treadmill isn’t our best folding treadmill only for its advanced train technology. It contains several other essential features that make it top of our list.

This folding treadmill comes with a “featherlight folding system” too. Hydraulics ease the folding process of the treadmill, and it can be folded and unfolded by a single person without any significant effort.

Also, and as we all know, the most important aspect of a treadmill is its motor; a powerful treadmill motor will ensure smooth performance and no costly repairs.

On the contrary, if your treadmill motor isn’t satisfactory, any of your workouts could end abruptly, and you will spend more time fixing the machine than working out. In this case, the Paragon X folding treadmill comes with a 3.25 hp continuous-duty motor and this rating is relatively high compared to other treadmills in the category.

With the motor playing such an important role, the manufacturers have paid particular focus to ensure the durability; and with that, it comes with a Johnson drive system, which keeps the treadmill at a low rpm at all times. Thus, the machine experiences lesser strain even at higher speeds, improving its life and preventing frequent faults.

Another great plus for this treadmill is its styling….in the advanced world, any conventional treadmill won’t resonate with other accessories of your house; thus, it would be the last thing you’d appreciate as a standalone item. However, in the case of the Paragon X folding treadmill, the case is different.

The folding treadmill not only comes with a modernistic design, but it also contains advanced features that are necessary to improve your workouts. The treadmill comes with Bluetooth connectivity; hence, you can connect your fitness trackers and applications to transfer real-time data about your training. Horizon Fitness allows you to connect Kinomap and Fit Display to your treadmill, which will help you enjoy every minute of your workout.

ProForm Pro 9000 Folding Treadmill

---

Overview

Sometimes, our expectations from a treadmill aren’t just basic workouts; we want the treadmill to be an exciting venture- an object that attracts us. Such treadmills are challenging to find, and most buyers often have to settle for compromises. However, if you are looking for a similar treadmill, the ProForm Pro 9000 is the right choice.

ProForm has been a popular name in the treadmill industry, and its fitness equipment is used worldwide. Their treadmills have a reputation for their quality and durability, but with ProForm 9000, they have surpassed their usual mark. ProForm Pro 9000 is a foldable treadmill with a large running deck that allows trainers to practice diverse workouts.

The treadmill belt is appropriately-cushioned, allowing all runners to practice in a controlled environment. With a high weight capacity and strong build, the treadmill is an excellent choice for all users. However, the features are common to all other treadmills on the list, but what makes ProForm Pro 9000 unique is its Add-ons. Let’s talk about them.

The treadmill comes with a gigantic 22-inch HD screen placed right at the center of the treadmill. Unlike other treadmills, the computer console isn’t a basic model with single lighting; instead, it is an entire tablet with a treadmill. It allows you to watch your favorite shows, take lessons from the best trainers, or simply monitor your workout progress.

The high-quality built-in speakers enrich the workout experience even further. Every minute on the treadmill is more fun than the last. The latest treadmill models allow each user to change the tilt of the LCD depending on their height; hence, all the trainers can have equal fun. Moreover, the advanced screen is waterproof; thus, it is well-protected against any water or sweat drops.

A common problem for most home gym trainers is the lack of coach guidance; they don’t have a teacher to guide them regarding effective workouts and how the treadmill can be utilized for best results. However, ProForm 9000 eliminates the problem by providing 62 different workout modes for the trainers; it is the most number of workout modes in a treadmill on our list. These trainer-led workouts are designed to circumvent the need for a physical trainer.

You can select your preferred activities from the LCD screen; there is a mix of multiple intensities, and you should choose the right intensity to reach your fitness goals. The workout modes allow automatic incline and speed alterations; thus, the trainer doesn’t get distracted during a workout. Another perk of Proform 9000 is the iFit library; the treadmill contains a range of diverse workout applications that take your workout to a whole new level.

Kinomap is a popular integration; the application connects to your treadmill through Bluetooth. It takes you through beautiful sceneries around the world while you work out. The google maps based technology allows it to be precise, thus helping inaccurate performance monitoring. These add-ons make ProForm 9000 a fantastic compact treadmill choice.
